Get well soon with honey and lemon exploding box

Hi dear friends,

I'm with you today again sharing made last exploding box I made with gorgeous Altenew "Get well soon set" for the Altenew October Inspiration challenge. Here is the inspiration photo and link to the challenge.

I was mainly inspired by colors and by setting of flowers on the wooden table from the photo and also by the sentiment on the featured card. I made an Get well exploding box with tea, honey and lemon and gorgeous flower bouquet on the table in the center of the box. I also used a Splatter stencil from Altenew for the background on the box as though they were splatters of honey.

Hope you'll like my project.
Enjoy the day, be well and see you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra

"Bloom with grace" layout

Hi dear crafty friends. I’m so excited to share with you my first post as DT for Bob n Betty India

I fell in love at first sight with gorgeous new paper collection Cottage Blush. First I wanted to make an off the page project but this gorgeous soft collection was just screaming for a delicate layout, so I decided this would be a perfect first project. I chose a photo I had my eyes on for some time now. It’s a gorgeous photo of a little flower girl with a beautiful white horse. Perfect for these soft papers.

I used lots of Scrapiniec chipboard pieces, laces and delicate Prima flowers to go with it, to make the layout even more soft. For coloring I used one of my favourites - Lindy's magicals - Mountain lavendar gold.

I'm also participating in October More than words challenge for which the word inspiration is Delicate and the creative challenge is to use fabrics. As soon as I first saw this photo it felt so delicate and so soft to me. And when I received my package with Cottage blush Bob n Betty papers they felt so delicate to. So I joined them with some delicate Scrapiniec chipboards and some gorgeous lace. I love how it all came out! Hope you'll like it too! :)

Hope you'll like my project and see you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra

"The Breath of Nature" altered doll

Hi my dear crafty friends :) I'm back again today, sharing with you another project, made for Mixed media & art joint project Creative art Stage 3 - "The Breath of Nature". We were challenged to incorporate some natural materials and letters in any form.

I decided to alter a doll, representing "Mother Nature". I once altered a doll before and made a sleeping mermaid on the bottom of the ocean, so this was actually my second altered doll. I was first inspired to alter a doll by the most amazing artist Finnabair.

I used some sticks I collected in the nearest woods and some moss and some dried tree lichen to embellish her dress. She has gorgeous wings and she is wearing a beautiful crown. She is releasing the breathtaking butterfly to the sky! Around her belt she is wearing some fairy dust and a magical key. For the letters I used a beautiful quote: "Nature is the art of God".

I used Lindy's gang for coloring:
- Edellweiss moss green magical and starburst,
- Gator gumbo olive magical and starburst,
- My mojito green and Landlubber green starburst,
- Wake me up before you go gold and Fuzzy navel peach starburst.

I also used several Finnabair art ingredients and some Prima marketing flowers, leaves and embellishments.

Hope you'll like my project. I don't have a tutorial for this one, since I will be having a workshop.

Have a great day and see you soon!
Hugs, Aleksandra

"Honey and Lemon Love for you" altered Pringles box lid

Hi dear crafty friends. :) This time I prepared for you something a bit more simple to make. For some time now I've been admiring Altenew products and was kind of in love with them, but I have always seen such a clean projects made with them. Oh boy and most of you for sure know by now I'm not clean and simple style girl :D But I decided anyway to give them a try. And I'm so so over the moon with them now. I made an altered Pringles box lid with them. Please do not ask me where the Pringles ended up. :D Hope you'll like my today's project. <3

Supplies I've used are from 7 kids Your crafting supply store:

I've also used some Lindy's gang products: Icy primrose gold magical, Glory of the seas gold and Wake me up before you go gold Starburst spray.

Thank you for stopping by. See you soon and have a great weekend!
Hugs, Aleksandra

"Focus on the good" altered glasses in a box

Hi my dear friends. I'm on Scrapiniec blog today and I have something different for you today. I was holding some glasses in my hands the other day, that I got somewhere long time ago and never used them. They were some cheap reading glasses. I decided it's time to give them new mission :) And they were a perfect fit for the new Scrapiniec collection.

I altered them, trying to create good vr. bad. One side of the glasses represents light and good things and the other side represents darkness and bad things. The main element of the glasses is a chipboard piece saying: "Focus on the good". I ctually love how things turned out. Of course I had to make a box to go along. Again the outside of the box is dark with a glimpse of bright hope on the cover, but the inside is where everything is bright and sunny and gold. Even though things sometimes seem dark and without hope there is better and brighter future that is awaiting you! <3

Hope you'll like my project. :) There is also a fresh youtube video tutorial for you on my youtube channel. The link is at the bottom of this post.

Scrapiniec chipboards used can be found in their online store:
Focus - small arrows
Focus on the good
Believe in magic - small round frame
Steampunk - flying hearts: set of wings

I've also used some gorgeous Lindy's for coloring:
- Bavarian blue magical shaker
- Voodoo violet blue magical
- Jazzy jivin' purple magical and starburst
- Icy primrose gold magical and starburst.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hugs, Aleksandra
